First swings, big smiles

Junior Programs are where most Rookie Ridge stories begin. Three age-grouped leagues take players from their first tee-ball swing to real kid-pitch games — with patient coaches, small rosters and a strict every-kid-plays policy.

  • Tee-Ball (Ages 5–6)

One hour, twice a week. Throwing, catching and hitting off the tee through games, not lectures.

  • Coach Pitch (Ages 7–9)

Coaches pitch, kids rake. Real base-running, positions and outs — still no strikeouts looking.

  • Kid Pitch (Ages 10–12)

Player pitching, umpires, standings and an end-of-season tournament at Ridge Field.
