2020's: A Decade of Rookie Ridge

In 2016 we opened with 40 players and two borrowed buckets of balls. Ten seasons later, Rookie Ridge has coached more than 2,000 young ballplayers — and the numbers only tell half the story.

The championships. Four league titles (2022, 2023, 2024 twice) headline the trophy case, but coaches will tell you the real milestones: the first unassisted triple play in 2021, the undefeated 2023 kid-pitch season, and last spring's walk-off in the regional final.

The community. Opening-day parades down Main Street, movie nights on the outfield grass, volunteer field days that rebuilt Ridge Field's backstop. Rookie Ridge families show up — for games and for each other.

The next decade. New batting cages this fall, a girls' softball expansion next spring, and the same promise we started with: fundamentals first, every kid plays, hustle always.
